Meet the HTC One E8, plastic version of the M8!

Today is a weird day. AT&T announced the rugged version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 called the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and HTC China announced the plastic version of the HTC One M8.

Besides the build material, there are actually very few differences from the M8. The E8 sports the same 5" 1080p display with a Snapdragon 801 chipset at 2.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM and 16 and 32 GB storage options.

But, instead of the Duo Camera with dual LED flash, the E8 uses a single LED with a 13 Megapixel sensor, also found on the HTC One Mini 2

The HTC One M7, E8 and M8.

It's unclear whether this phone will find a home outside of the Asian market; we should look for a more formal announcement from HTC in the coming days. Rumors from earlier this week pegged the device with a June 3 debut.

That's it guys. You can read all our other articles which are listed on the right side. If you have any question about the phone or any suggestions for this blog, you can let me know in the comments section or on Google+ at google.com/+UltrafiniteBlogspot
